This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of the historic town. It offers great value for money, with rooms that come equipped with air conditioning and a bathroom. The staff are incredibly attentive and provide excellent service. The location couldn't be better, situated in an ancient Italian fortress with stunning views over the lake.

The Hotel Aganoor in Castiglione del Lago exceeded all my expectations. the value for money was exceptional - I couldn't believe how affordable this hotel was considering its prime location in an ancient Italian fortress with breathtaking views over the lake. Secondly, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. From accommodating our late check-in to recommending fantastic local cafes and bars, their attention to detail was impeccable. Lastly, the rooms were well-appointed with modern amenities, including air conditioning and stunning views. The breakfast spread was delectable, offering a variety of choices to suit all tastes. This hotel truly offers a remarkable experience that I would not hesitate to repeat.

Our stay was perfect in every way, from the friendly staff to the delicious breakfast and the stunning view of the lake from the hotel terrace. We appreciated the location, which allowed us to be close to everything and explore this charming city just outside the town walls. Moreover, the hotel facilities were excellent, including a clean room with AC and a small refrigerator, as well as discounted prices at four different restaurants. Finally, we were grateful for the parking option, just a five-minute walk from the hotel.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel in Castiglione del Lago. One of the things I loved about it was its central location. Situated in the heart of the city, it was easy to explore the historic town and enjoy the atmosphere. Plus, the hotel itself was in an ancient Italian fortress, which added a unique charm to the experience. From the hotel, I had amazing views over the lake, it was truly breathtaking. The rooms were basic but comfortable, with air conditioner and a bathroom. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. Another highlight was the breakfast, which offered a lot of choices and was a great way to start the day. I thought this hotel was a great value for money and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

All was perfect during my stay.

Our stay in an ancient building in the old city center inside the walls was pleasant, but some details were lacking. Although the view from the room and terrace was amazing, the bathroom was small and not comfortable. The breakfast was impressive and varied, and the sun terrace was inviting.

The staff was not particularly helpful when we arrived, not even in carrying our bags up the stairs.

Excellent breakfast with many choices. The hotel has a small sitting area where we could make a cup of tea, and the air conditioning was good. The location was truly perfect, with a fabulous rooftop deck and a lovely view of Lake Trasimeno. The free breakfast overlooking the lake was delightful. The staff was friendly and eager to help. The room had a comfortable bed with extra pillows and a blanket if needed. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

We spent Christmas in a hotel located in the historical center, close to many restaurants and amazing views. The room had a small refrigerator and AC, which was very useful, given the warm weather. Additionally, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful during our stay.

The hotel is located on a high floor, which can be tricky to reach without an elevator, and there is no parking available. It was also hard to find the hotel as there was no proper signage, which made it challenging to locate the entrance.

Superb position, character, and staff. Toast cooked in wood-fired pizza oven. Relocation to larger shower. Fabulous restaurant with wonderful lake view. Outstanding breakfast. Beautiful location.

Spending my Xmas holiday in this hotel was a fabulous experience. the restaurant overlooking the lake was amazing, and had great food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. , I loved the sun terrace, which gave me a beautiful view of the whole city, where I could lounge around and soak up some sun. Another advantage was the hotel's fantastic location, which is close proximity to everything that I needed, from free parking just a few meters away to major tourist attractions.

The only downside to my stay was the lack of an elevator. It was on the third floor, and there was no elevator to take me up.
